When It Was Now features eleven unique tracks, and I would expect that this is just the beginning for the indie rock foursome. After a four year hiatus, the Versailles, France-based alternative rock band Phoenix is back with a brand new singe. American singer/songwriter Chan Marshall, or Cat Power as she is professionally known, released her ninth studio album, Sun, in August of last year. The forty-one-year-old Atlanta, Georgia native began her career over two decades ago, and has built a massive following in the process. Her music is known to have a “mix of punk, folk and blues,” and over the years has progressed to include other elements such as soul and electronica.
