Siblings Maggie and Tyler Heath make up The Oh Hello’s, a folk rock duo hailing from a small city outside of Austin, Texas. Following their 2011 debut EP, Alaska EP, the Stockholm, Sweden trio known as Last Lynx released “Killing Switch,” which quickly landed at #1 on Hypem’s popular chart after its release late last year. According to their bio, the trio are influenced by, “both modern electro pop and 60’s organic pop,” and their sophomore EP is scheduled to be released in the spring of this year. Electronic music composer (and YouTube celebrity) Ronald Jenkees released his third independent album on November 21, three years after his last album, Disorganized Fun. Jenkees began making music in 2003, and Days Away is another prime example of the wide variety of genres that can be found in his music. Using keyboards and various PC-controlled electronic synthesizers, Jenkees creates multi-tempo music ranging from techno to rock and roll. Listen to our favorites below.
